Most people only test creatives. They run five ads, find a winner, and never touch the page. The people who break through are testing landing pages too.

When you find an angle or a pain point on an ad that is doing really well, take that same angle and build a new landing page around it so the message is congruent the whole way through. If your ad speaks to parents, your landing page should speak to parents. An ad with a sharp, targeted message that dumps into a generic page speaking to everyone leaves most of its performance on the table.

This is the gap almost nobody closes. They obsess over the hook in the ad and then send the click to a page that sounds like it was written for a different audience. Match the page to the ad. Same angle, same pain point, same language, ad to page. It will usually outperform the targeted-ad-plus-generic-page setup by a wide margin.
